The processing and protection of personal data are among the top priorities of Küçükler Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), and utmost effort is made to carry out all business processes in compliance with the applicable legislation.

This policy outlines the principles adopted by our Company in the conduct of personal data processing activities and the fundamental principles adopted in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”).

1. Scope

This policy applies to all personal data of our Company’s employees and officials, as well as any other individuals, that are processed either automatically or through non-automatic means provided that they are part of a data recording system.

2. Matters Related to the Processing of Personal Data

2.1. Principles of Personal Data Processing

Our Company processes personal data in accordance with the following principles:

  • Specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes
  • Relevance, limitation, and proportionality to the purpose of processing
  • Retention for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or as necessary for the purpose of processing

2.2. Processing of Personal Data

The explicit consent of the data subject is only one of the legal bases that make data processing lawful. In the following cases, personal data may be processed without obtaining explicit consent:

  • Clearly stipulated by laws
  • In cases where obtaining consent is impossible due to actual impossibility
  • Necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract
  • Necessary for the Company to fulfill its legal obligations
  • Data made public by the data subject
  • Necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right
  • Necessary for the legitimate interests of the Company, provided that it does not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject

2.3. Processing of Special Categories of Personal Data

Special categories of personal data are subject to enhanced protection due to their potential to cause harm if processed unlawfully. Our Company processes such data only in compliance with the applicable legislation and by taking the necessary administrative and technical measures.

3. Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data may be transferred to third parties if the data subject has given explicit consent or under the following conditions:

4. Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, everyone has the right to apply to the data controller and request the following regarding their personal data:

  • To learn whether their personal data has been processed
  • To request information if their personal data has been processed
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
  • To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad
  • To request correction if personal data is incomplete or inaccurate
  • To request deletion or destruction of personal data
  • To request notification of these operations to third parties to whom the data was transferred
  • To object to a result that is to their detriment, arising from analysis by automated systems
  • To request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing
